The Champion

11/20/13 03:02 P.M.

I walk through the light to an Elevator that leads to an even brighter room with a woman standing inside.  Could it be?  I never thought she would be the champion.  Its the Movie Star Diantha, she is the champion and has been waiting for me to meet her here since we first met in Lumiose City.  She welcomes me and warns me that we would be having a full six on six Pokemon Battle.

I start out with Shock and her First Pokemon is Hawlucha.

Hawlucha jumped into the air as if ready to Body slam my little Shock, but she sent a Thunder right through the poor Pokemon, who had no  ground to protect it and hit the floor knocked out after one hit.  Then she sent out a Tyrantrum I called back Shock and sent out Kuurth.

Kuurth using his armor like a shield and his Arms like a Hammer ran right through the rampaging Tyrantrum. With a fe hits to it's jaw and then a gut shot Tyrantrum was knocked out before it could get past Kuurth's armor.  Dianth frustrated sent out her Aurorus to which I allowed Kuurth to stay out to fight this prehistoric Pokemon as well.

Aurorus set up a Reflecting wall as Kuurth charged at it with more punches from his Hammer Arms.  One Punch shattered the wall created by Aurorus and another punch knocked Aurorus out cold.  I couldn't believe my luck so far and that is when Diantha sent out a Goodra and I called Kuurth back and sent out Nagase.

Goodra sent a Focused Blast at Nagase that he tried to dodge but was hit hard, but in retaliation Nagase started a Blizzard in the room, freezing the Goodra quite a bit before it could hit Nagase again and knock him out.  Shock, shivering from the blizzard ran into the snow and Played Rough with the Goodra, hitting it right in the gut with a a bounce, causing the Freezing Goodra to double over as Shock jumped on its head and knocked the Goodra out.  Four Down and 2 to go with only one of my Pokemon out, Every thing is looking Demy.  Diantha laughed and sent out her Gourgeist and I let loose Blaziken to handle the little ghost Pokemon.

Blaziken Mega Evolved upon entering the battle field, covering itself with fire and Blitzing at the Gourgeist without my order to do so, wanting to end the battle quickly.  And he sure did just that, with a laugh I called Blaziken back as Diantha sent out her last Pokemon, a Gardevoir and I sent out Vedrfolnir.

Her Gardevoir Mega Evolved upon entering the battlefield as well and my Vedrfolnir, seeing this disappeared  into the Phantoms.

This Confused the Mega Gardevior long enough for Vedrfolnir o come out from the shadows with full force and strike from behind.  A little Sneaky but I approved as Gardevoir lost it's mega form and fell forward knocked out.

Diantha congratulated me and said that this battle had really touched her heart.  She mostly seemed speechless that I had one.  She lead me back to the Elevator which rose even higher to a room full of pictures of trainers and Pokemon.  Diantha explained that this was the Grand Chamber and it was where the Champions were registered as such and that they were going to take my picture for the League since I am now the Champion.  I let my Party out of their Pokeballs so they each can get their own picture done as well as a group shot of all seven of us together.

I returned to Lumiose City a few days later to a Party for Shaune, Serena, Trevor, Tierno, and myself as Heroes and of course the new Champion.  I even thought I got a glimpse of Az, then he got closer and challenged me to a battle saying he wish to know what a trainer was.  I accepted and he sent out a Torkoal.

Shock wanted to Battle, but I couldn't allow her to, knowing that Nagase was the better choice. So Nagase battle the Torkoal by creating a wave of water and surfing his body into the Torkoal knocking it out.  Az then sent out a Golurk and I responded with leaving Nagase out.

Nagase easily shot a Cannon of water at the Ghost type and knocked back towards a wall and knocking his Golurk out as well. Az grunted in approval and sent out a Sigilyph.  Shock tired of the Sidelines jumped into the battle and giving into her I called back Nagase.

Shock ran circles around the Sigilyph and introduced it to its Thunder knocking it out.  Az smiled at me and I smiled back.  As we talked a Pokemon came out of the sky towards Az.  It was a Floette, the one he has been looking for for 3,000 years.  He fell to his knees crying happily to be reunited with his lost Pokemon, who has been waiting for him to become the man he once was before.  I must say, what an amazing adventure it has been, but I cannot wait to get home to see my mom and get some well deserved sleep in my own bed again.

Elite Four - Part 4: Drasna

11/20/13 02:13 P.M.

I enter the last door to another elevator with a sign reading "Dragonmark Chamber".  Two giant stone dragon wings open up after I enter and smoke, smelling of sulfur, fills the room.  Inside the wings was a woman who introduced herself as Drasna and said how wonderful it is that I must be a strong trainer, and that challanging someone like me will help her Pokemon grow like weeds, then she sent out a Noivern and Shock jumped off my head and ran into battle ready for another fight.

Shock Played Rough with the Noivern but jumped and ran all over the field in the smoke filled room.  She seemed unable to see her opponent until it got close to her.  I told her to wait till it swooped down then jump, She did and landed in one of Noivern's ears and the largest Thunder I have seen Shock give.  It Paralyzed the Noivern and caused it to fall to the ground where Shock knocked out it out with one last blow.

That is it I've beaten all four members and the Champion is all that is left for me.  Drasna wished me luck on facing the champion after congratulating me for defeating her.  I get back into the Lobby and there is the door to the Champion wide open.  I wonder who the champion is as I head for the door and walk into the bright light.

Elite Four - Part 3: Wikstrom

11/20/13 01:42 P.M.

I enter the hallway with the name Wikstrom above it.  Inside is another elevator with a sign reading "Ironworks Chamber".  I take the Elevator and go up to the chamber.  As I enter giant iron walls fall down and two sword like statues turn towards me and sitting in the chamber is a man wearing armor.  He introduced himself as Wikstrom the blade of hardened Steel and challenged me to a battle.  he sent out an Aegislash and I sent out my Blaziken.

My Blaziken Mega Evolved right away and the battle was like two knights having a duel.  they stared each other down matching each other blow for blow.  Eventually Aegislash made a wrong move and Blaziken delivered a fire filled kick right into the Aegislash.  This knocked it out and gave Blaziken the win.  Wikstrom congratulated me and wished me luck on my final battle before having a chance to face the champion.  I head back to the main lobby and look at the last door with the name of my last opponent above it "Drasna".

Elite Four - Part 2: Siebold

11/18/13 11:55 A.M.

After leaving Malva's area and back to the Lobby I looked around trying to decide who to face next. I decided to take the door directly next to Malva's.  Above it read "Siebold" so I guess that is whom I will be facing.  I walked through the door into the long hallway, it lead to a center room that had a sign the read, "Elevator to The Flood Chamber".  I stepped on the Elevator and it lead me up to a room that filled with water after entering and a man standing there waiting.  He asked me if Pokemon Battles could be worthy enough to be called art and I said yes.  He introduced himself as Siebold.

I challenged him to a battle, Shock jumping off my hat and sending out a few shocks to show she was ready.  Siebold sent out his Pokemon, a Barbaracle.

Shock tried to jump onto Barbaracle but kept getting hit before being able to shock it.  Deciding to try a different tactic I sent Shock to the water to go swimming.  Once Barbaracle got close enough Shock sent a Thunder through the water, giving it extra power and knocking Barbaracle out instantly.  Shock returned to me exhausted and I picked her up and placed her carefully back on my hat.

Siebold told me to remember this battle for ever, for it will be fleeting art and the only thing any human can do is remember their own art.  The Chamber emptied out the water and I took the Elevator back to the main room to decide on who I will face next.

Elite Four - Part 1: Malva

11/16/13 09:55 P.M.

I entered the giant league building.  Inside Malva was waiting.  She welcomed me to the League and told me that she is a Fire Type Trainer.  She also told me that if I wish to face the Champion I will have to impress all four members of the Elite Four first.  I decided that she would be the first person I faced.  I entered her area and she greeted me again then showed me her Pokemon, a Talonflame.

I decided to use Nagase against her Talonflame.  Talonflame stayed high above Nagase for a long time, making the battle hard, but Eventually Nagase was able to leap high enough to get above Talonflame and shoot water at Talonflame with the power of a cannon.  Knocking Talonflame to the ground and out of the battle.

The Road to Victory

11/13/13 04:05 P.M.

I enter Victory Road by going through the badge check point on Route 22.  Victory Road started out as a giant cave, with many Ace Trainers and Veteran Trainers inside.  The battles were hard but a great warm up for each of my Pokemon.  As I exited the Cave I found some old ruins.  Here Serena caught up to me and challenged me to another battle to test if I'm truly ready for a battle against the Elite.  Once again it is her Chesnaught against Shock.  Shock played very rough, and climbed under Chesnaught's armor delivering the final Thunder.  She congratulates me on the win and tells me how we are very much alike and how that is what makes our battles so much fun for her, and that she wishes me luck on defeating the Pokemon League and becoming Champion before she leave for more training.

I enter a second cave on Victory Road and face a few more Veteran Trainers before exiting the cave and seeing the giant building that is The Pokémon League.  Inside this giant building are the mysterious Elite Four and the Current Champion.  I shall put all of my trust in my Pokemon and battle as hard as we can to become the new champions of Kalos!

Ice Ice Baby

11/11/13 10:16 P.M.

I headed back to Route 19 battling a few trainers on the way till I make my way into Snowbelle City.  Inside Snowbelle City I find the Gym only to be told the Gym Leader is not there and went to the Winding Woods. I step into the giant maze of the woods.  As soon as I was inside a giant tree attacked me.  It was a Trevenant!

with the help of Kuurth I was able to capture the Trevenant.  I continued walking through the maze till I saw a Froakie.  Confused I got closer and Shock shocked it and it attacked.  Turned out it was really a  Zoroark in disguise.

I catch the Zoroark and continue on the way till I finally find Wulfric, the Gym Leader.  He tells me I'm in a place called the Pokémon Village.  He said he would head back to the gym but suggests I search around the village a little bit before I challenge him.  I did just that, I eve saw a sleeping Snorlax that reminded me of my own.  I saw a trash can shaking and I checked it and inside was a Garbodor.  Shock and I battled it and I caught the Pokemon.

I head back into the woods and ultimately back to Snowbelle City.  I walk into the gym and challange Wulfric to a battle.  Wulfric used an Avalugg and I send out Shock.

Shock kept slipping and sliding all over the room, sending out shocks as she slipped around.  She even shocked me.  She eventually slipped under Avalugg and used Thunder causeing Avalugg to faint and granting us the victory.  Wulfric gave me the Iceberg Badge.

That is my eighth gym badge! I can't believe it, I can go to the Pokemon League now. I leave the gym to start on the path to the League.
